Program Overview

This immersive program provides hands-on experience, mentorship from industry experts, and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to our mission while developing critical career skills in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis, and acquiring the 2,000 Supervised Independent Fieldwork needed for BCBA credentialing.

Eligibility

Applicants must:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology or a related field.
  • Be enrolled in a master’s program for ABA (or related field).
  • Commit to 1.5–5 years (based on role/availability).
  • Become a full-time MyPath employee (current or new hires).

Program Structure & Responsibilities

Fieldwork Requirements

Aligned with BACB Handbook (2025), our program ensures trainees meet all supervised fieldwork criteria:

  • Fieldwork Types
    • Supervised Fieldwork: 2,000 hours (minimum 5% supervision per month).
  • Key Activities
    • Unrestricted (60% minimum): Conducting assessments, writing behavior plans, training staff, data analysis.
    • Restricted (40% maximum): Direct client intervention.
  • Supervision
    • Qualified Supervisors: MyPath BCBAs with 1+ year of certification and 8-hour BACB supervision training.
    • Monthly Requirements:
      • 4 contacts/month (Supervised) or 6 contacts/month (Concentrated).
      • 1 observation/client per month (in-person or via video).
    • Group Supervision: Limited to 50% of supervised hours.
  • Documentation
    • Signed Supervision Contracts before starting.
    • Quarterly performance evaluations.
    • Monthly Fieldwork Verification Forms (M-FVF) submitted by the trainee and supervisor.
    • Final Fieldwork Verification Form (F-FVF) upon completion.

How to Apply

  1. Fill out the application form.
  2. Once contacted by MyPath, you will submit a resume and cover letter.
  3. Rolling admissions (processing time: ~2 months for existing employees with 6+ months of employment, and 4 months for new staff).
  4. Complete probationary new-hire requirements (if applicable).
